Hans-Joachim Dittloff becomes new Chairman of the Management Board of VOGT electronic AG

During its meeting held on 1 December 2006 the Supervisory Board of VOGT electronic AG announced the appointment of Dr. Hans-Joachim Dittloff as Member and Chairman of the Management Board effective 15 December 2006. The Management Board of VOGT electronic AG will now be represented by Dr. Hans-Joachim Dittloff und Dr. Jürgen Sturhahn.  Dr. Dittloff joins VOGT electronic AG from Agere Systems Inc. where he assumed the roles of Managing Director and Vice President Engineering.  Before he held several leading management positions at Infineon Technologies AG.

After the resignation of Mrs. Larissa Vogel the Management Board of VOGT electronic AG will now again be represented by two members and after several years also by a chairman.  Additionally, the new Chairman, Dr. Hans-Joachim Dittloff, will lead the German Holding of Sumida Corporation and join the Executive Committee of Sumida Corporation. This will intensify the cooperation with Sumida and also strenghthen the position of VOGT electronic AG within the Group. Sumida Corporation owns 78,1 percent of the shares of VOGT electronic AG.

 

In his role as Vice President Engineering Dr. Dittloff was responsible for the mobility divison of the American manufacturer of semiconductors Agere Systems Inc. and assumed also the role of Managing Director of its German subsidary Optimay GmbH. He has an PhD in Electronical Engineering and held several leading management positions at Infineon Technologies AG: before becoming Chief Operating Officer of the Secure Mobile Solutions Group where he was responsible for the operative business he led the world wide Sales & Marketing Organisation of Infineon’s Wireless Group. He has an excellent international experience and background, both in development and manufacturing of electronical products and in the sales and marketing area.
